ABOUT US

The idea of The Southern Pantry Company was born not in my grandmother’s kitchen in Bessemer, Alabama, where I first learned to cook; but while living in Brooklyn where inspiration and ingredients were at every turn. Food artisans were planting on rooftops, canning fresh produce and harvesting honey. Between them and my grandmother, I noticed a common thread; they were both exceptional craftsman, used only seasonal ingredients and are meticulous when it comes to details and quality. Celebrating these locally crafted foods, the people who make them and paying tribute to my southern heritage became The Southern Pantry Company.

We carry an assortment of gourmet foods including chocolates, baked goods, farm fresh cheeses, specialty condiments and savory selections, created by wonderfully small businesses. With a nod to my southern heritage, we designed each gift set to pay tribute to these food artisans because they believe in taking their time, using the best ingredients and preparing food the way it's meant to be made - by hand.

Our way may not be the most conventional, and it may take a little longer to make our product, but we want our gift sets to be the ones you love giving to others and equally love to spoil yourself with.
